Kiwanis Club of East Bridgewater

The East Bridgewater Kiwanis Club and The Fisher House join together to say “Thank You” to our veterans.

For Veterans Day 2018, East Bridgewater will honor our loved ones with a "Field of Flags" where we intend to display up to 1000 Flags on our Town Common. For a $10 donation you can sponsor a flag, and if you wish, dedicate the flag in memory or honor of a veteran. All flags are made in the USA and are the same style flags that are used at Arlington National Cemetery. The Flags will be on display from November 3rd - November 17th 2018, with a small ceremony to be held on Saturday Nov 3rd to honor the flags after we place them.

All money raised will go toward East Bridgewater Kiwanis charities and The Fisher House in Boston, which is a home away from home where our military families can stay while a loved one is receiving treatment at major military and VA medical centers. Any veteran or active military personnel, wartime or peacetime, is eligible to stay at the Fisher House. The homes enable family members to be close to loved ones at the most stressful times. There is NO charge for any family to stay at a Fisher House.They recognize not only the special sacrifices made by our men and women who serve in uniform, but also their loved ones .
